Text messages

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This page explains the text messages that Workbench sends. Workbench is a product of Eastlink LLC. Eastlink LLC sends the texts.

Who gets texts

Only business owners and their staff who use Workbench get texts. We do not text the public. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.

What we send

  • Alerts about the person's business, such as a new order or a new claim.
  • Questions that need an answer. These have reply codes, such as "Y12 to approve, N12 to skip". Anything that sends, deletes or pays is never approved by text: the owner says yes in the app.
  • A confirmation when a phone is linked.

How a person agrees

  1. The person signs in to Workbench at app.getmyworkbench.com.
  2. The person opens Settings, then Me, then "Text me here". The app shows a code.
  3. The person texts "LINK" and the code to our number from their own phone.

This is the screen the person sees:

The same consent text, in words: Text LINK 4821 to +1 631 706 9230 from your phone. The code works once, for 10 minutes. By texting it you agree to get texts from Workbench by Eastlink LLC about your work: alerts and questions that need your answer. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to stop.

The code in the example (4821) is only an example. Each person gets their own code.

Agreeing to get texts is optional. It is not a condition of using Workbench. A person can use Workbench without texts.
